Tarasadan English Medium School was founded in 1971 as per article 30(1) of constitution of India. It is owned and managed by sisters of the congregation of the Mother of Carmel. The medium of instruction is English and Hindi is taught as compulsory subject.
The school is totally private and unaided. It does not receive any grant in aid from any government. The school aims at the integral development of the individual into a whole person to fulfill her/his role in life in her/his twin capacities as a child of God and a faithful citizen of the country to build a just society. The motto of the school is “to love and serve.”
Overcoming the struggles of infancy the first batch of students appeared for class X Board Examination in the year 1986. Seeing the need of time it began Higher Secondary for girls in 2000. Every year the students come out with flying colours after the Board Examinations. It is one of the best schools in the district. Students participate even in the National level sports competitions and get selected in the international level too. Students get ample opportunities to develop their multifaceted talents. It was an important milestone in the history of Tarasadan when it got affiliated to CBSE in the year 2008.Students is provided with the
following facilities:
Spacious library with a good number of books. Well furnished Laboratories with all the conveniences for the subjects Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics, Computer etc. Language lab to improve the language of the students is one of the specialties of our school. Aiming at the excellence of the students in studies we have started Digital Class rooms in this year,2011.
